Shimmer paces around a small violet bed made of a soft silk trim and puffy inside. Shimmer looked up to her mother, Shine, and Father, Hound. Her 3 siblings Macy, Glow, and Droupy were tumbling on the floor together. Her other brother, Max, was sold to a dog show for money. The winds blew from the dogs bedroom window, ruffling their short fur. "Momma?" Shimmer ask "Are we ever going to see Max again?"
